Rumors: Aster, RNG, Xtreme Gaming, all have visa issues ahead of Arlington Major Rumors2022-07-19 10:01:00
Every Chinese team that qualified for PGL Dota 2 Major Arlington 2022 may have difficulties obtaining US visas, with the only exception being PSG.LGD. These rumors came from Reddit user The_Blue_Axe who cited several Chinese web posts, so this information should be taken with a grain of salt.
List of players with possible issues
- Xtreme Gaming may miss Lou "lou" Zhen. The carry has been denied a visa after saying he never traveled outside China. The post claims he didn't even have a chance to show his invitation letter. Lou will have another interview on July 22.
- Royal Never Give Up carry Daniel "Ghost" Chan Kok Hong already went through two interviews and was denied in both cases. The player is currently heading to Riyadh Masters and will have to wait two more days before even scheduling the next application.
- Aster support Yu "Siamese.C" Yajun stated he didn't receive a clear response from the officials but he believes he passed the interview.
The Reddit user claims that PSG.LGD have all the papers, so at least one of four Chinese teams will make it to the event with a full lineup.
Previously, Entity's Kataomi failed to obtain a US visa after two interviews. Other EEU players seemingly don't experience any problems. Outsiders (Virtus.pro) stated they got their papers, although RAMZES still needs to renew his. Team Spirit oк NAVI didn't report on any issues so far.
