OG qualify for TI11, Arlington Major. Alliance prematurely drop out of DPC 2022 top division

The Alliance loss to OG put an end to the organization's efforts to keep their spot in the first Division of DPC 2022. The bo3 series ended with a score of 0:2.

At the same time, OG qualified for PGL Major Arlington 2022 and guaranteed themselves a minimum of 1350 DPC points. According to Noxville's estimations, this is enough for a direct invite to The International 2022. Since after last Major win, they needed only a tiny bit of points.

The defeat came as the sixth in a row for Alliance who didn't achieve a single win this regular season. The last match against team Entity will not help the squad. It is the org's second drop to the Lower Division during DPC 2021/2022.

This is especially bad look when compared to Goonsquad, which is filled with former Alliance players. The Swedes have a score of 2:3 and are looking way better. Although they may still leave the Upper Division.

DPC 2022 Tour 3 for Western Europe is running from June 7 to July 13. Eight teams compete for a $205,000 prize pool and DPC points.
