Ilya "Illidan" Pivtsaev has officially joined Team Empire as a carry. He will compete for the club during the DPC 2022 Tour 3 and other tournaments.

This season I'll play for Team Empire. We'll see what happens later. Tomorrow we have a match against HellRaisers, come and cheer for us!

Team Empire is competing in the Lower Division of EEU DPC. Pivtsaev will join other veterans of the scene in the team, such as Stanislav "633" Glushan and Maxim "Shachlo" Abramovskikh. He already played with Team Empire two matches as a stand-in on D2CL S12 and Winline Insight, and won both matches 2:0.

Illidan is a seasoned player, he first joined a professional Dota 2 team in 2012. He was one of the most prominent carries in CIS for a while, but after taking top-6 at TI5 with Virtus.pro, his career took a nosedive. He played for a lot of different teams and stacks, and even tried his hand at coaching, but mostly stopped competing since 2020.
