In the grand final, Team Spirit outplayed PSG.LGD with a score of 3:2 and took home over $18 mln out of a $40 mln prize pool. TI10 grand final was by far the most-watched Dota 2 event with 2,7 mln peak viewers online. This number excludes Chinese views that are hard to estimate.

It was also held after a break in the traditional yearly schedule because of the pandemic and had no live audience for the same reason. Interestingly enough, another Valve event, CS:GO PGL Stockholm Major, took place soon after TI had almost the same viewership and a live audience but wasn't even included on the nominees' list.

Emmy Sports Awards added Esports nomination during pandemic 2020 year. 41st and 42nd ceremonies both awarded League of Legends Worlds grand finals.
