Omega Esports banned from participating in DPC for match-fixing

Valve Corporation has banned the Filipino organization Omega Esports from all events of the company. The tournament organizer, Beyond the Summit, who is holding the DPC league in Southeast Asia, announced the decision.

Organizers have banned two players on the current Omega roster. The rest of the banned players has left the team earlier. Lee “Forev” Sang-don, Ramzi “Ramz” Bayhaki, and Liew “Eren” Jun Jie, who were on the roster for DPC season, weren't involved. They already left the team.

The organization lost its slot in the Upper Division of the DPC league in SEA. BOOM Esports will be taking its place. They were relegated after the conclusion of the second season of DPC 2021. The slot that belonged to them will be given to a winner of an additional closed qualifier.
