OG qualified for The International 2021

OG did it again! The running two times world champions are going to defend their titles at The International 10. The team managed to win the Western European qualifiers by beating Tundra in the grand final with a score line of 3:2.

The season didn't go smooth for OG. They attended neither of the two majors, and Ana stepped down from the competitive scene not long before the TI qualifiers. The team decided to return SumaiL as their position one player. With him, OG finished fourth at ESL One Summer 2021, their only event before The International qualifiers.

The qualifiers themselves started well for OG. They passed through Hellbear Smashers and Team Nigma but suffered a devastating loss from Tundra and dropped to the lower bracket. There, they yet again beat Nigma and faced Tundra in the decisive bo5 series.

They lost the first map that lasted for one hour but managed to equalize. Then Tundra took the third game as they again showed their signature solo mid Winter Wyvern. But OG showed their character again and won two games in a row to secure their The International 2021 spot.
