NAVI and beastcoast will skip Singapore Major

Natus Vincere and beastcoast announced that their teams will miss ONE Esports Singapore Major due to coronavirus issues.

Beastcoast's captain Steven “StingeR” Vargas was exposed to COVID-19 and may infect other players. Despite the fact that all players tested negative, they can't compete at major and fly to Singapore due to the incubation period.

NAVI detected additional positive tests after Andrey “ALWAYSWANNAFLY” Bondarenko and the midlaner Bogdan “Iceberg” Vasilenko caught COVID-19. Andrey “Mag” Chipenko, who was supposed to play as a stand-in, tested positive as well.

The club found a replacement in the person of Nikola "LeBronDota" Popovic, but his plane was turned around on the way to Singapore. Roman "RAMZES" Kushnarev has already departed from Moscow to Singapore before the team decided to withdraw from the tournament. If Valve approves, he will play as a stand-in for another team.

ONE Esports Singapore Major will be held from March 27 to April 4 where 12 teams will compete for a $500,000 prize pool and 2,700 DPC points.
