When will Crownfall Act 4 start in Dota 2? Crownfall Act IV release date

Dota 2's main in-game event of the summer is reaching its final part. The currently ongoing Crownfall Act 3: The Frosts of Icewrack is finished by many players, and now, they expect the next chapter. Here's when Act 4 will supposedly come out. We will update this article if new information arrives.

When Crownfall Act 3 ends and Act 4 starts?

Update: New datmined files of Crownfall suggest Act IV will release on September 24. The event will reportedly end on November 26.

Valve didn't give a hint about the release date of Act 4. However, with the release of the ongoing part, the developers postponed the end of the event to October 16. The switch will most likely take place between the known dates. Based on this assumption, the release date should be August 27 or 28.

Dates of Crownfall Acts

  • Act 1: April 18 — May 22 (34 days)
  • Act 2: May 22 — July 9 (49 days)
  • Act 3: July 9 — TBA
  • Act 4: TBA — October 16

What will be released in Act 4?

The community should expect the same features, with the addition of new mini-games similar to Dota Chess and Sleet Fighter, which were well received by the players. The long-awaited new hero, Ringmaster, might also come out. Act 4 would overlap with The International 2024, running from September 8 to 15. It's possible that Valve will reveal the hero before the grand final on the last day of the tournament.
