CS2 charms can have custom skins in Steam Workshop now
2025-03-21 08:47:00Valve released a small patch that allows creators to make their own gun charms for CS2 and add them to Workshop. The only item available for new finishes is the Missing Link charm. The patch was released on the official Steam page of the game

- Updated Basalt to the latest version from Steam Workshop.
WORKSHOP
- Added ability to author and submit patterns for the Missing Link Charm to Counter-Strike 2 Steam Workshop.
Presumably, some of the new skins can be added to the official version in future. The other charms are made in the form of weapons. It's unclear why only one shape was chosen for custom finishes for now.
Charms came out with the update on October 3, 2024. The developers added Armory Pass with many new features. Charms can still be bought with Armory Credits by purchasing one of the two collections. Some skin traders invested in the new type of items, hoping they'll become more expensive with time, assuming that access to these collections will be eventually restricted.
