S1mple: "The MongolZ play like Major winners"

CS2 superstar Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev is excited by The MongolZ' performance at PW Shanghai Major 2024. After watching two initial bo1s, he claimed that their level of play was worth the title. S1mple posted his impression on X.

MongolZ started the Elimination stage with a double upset, over G2 Esports and MOUZ. Both matches were tough, as the opponents reached double digits in both cases. In the latter, the Asian squad demonstrated resilience, as they won in OT after equalizing a 10:12 score on Mirage.

Wildcard advances to Elimination Stage, Complexity out of Shanghai Major 2024

PW Shanghai Major 2024 runs from November 30 to December 15. This is the first Valve's tournament to take place in China and to have no open qualifiers in most regions. 24 teams are fighting for a share of $1.25 mln and sticker money.
