FPL kicks kennyS, Smooya, HooXi, olofmeister and many more veteran stars
2024-11-26 11:33:00A lot of CS2 star players have been removed from FPL on November 24. FACEIT kicked such veterans as GeT_RiGhT, f0rest, olofmeister, GuardiaN and many more. The list was compiled by CS2 News on Telegram.
There are more than 100 players removed from FPL. Some of them are retired but others are active or in search of a new team. The list includes Alexander "br0" Bro from Astralis who just participated in the Shanghai Major RMR. Smooya, mir, k1to, and Bymas were also excluded, despite being in the top 50 of FACEIT's Elo ladder.
According to the CS2 News version, the platform removed all the players who weren't playing in a top-35 team from the HLTV ranking. The official announcement says that FPL was changed to fit the schedule of the best teams.
A new FPL format has been trialed with top teams to make it more aligned with their schedule and deliver stacked matches that give top talents the best environment to grow — and an exciting experience for the community to watch.
On November 25, FACEIT launched a new update. The service updated its anti-cheat system, aiming to take down smurfs. The platform expanded the individual statistics and introduced new matchmaking and features for paid subscribers.
