Falcons bench Snappi, Maden and Dupreeh and do not extend S1mple's loan

Team Falcons announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster. The organization removed Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen, Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer and Pavle "maden" Bošković from the active roster. Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyljev's loan ended as well.

The only remaining member of the squad is Emil "Magisk" Reif, together with coach Danny "zonic" Sørensen. Presumably, the new team will be built around them. The roster did not go out with a bang, as they could not qualify for Shanghai Major 2024 and even had a loss streak after s1mple joined the team.

Ukrainian superstar already announced that he is not going to join Falcons before these news came. According to report from Richard Lewis, the organization had an option to buy him out for a reduced price. It's not known why this did not happen.

It is rumored that Falcons' new roster for 2025 will have Nikola "NiKo" Kovač in it. The transfer is extremely likely at this point, as even G2's CEO basically confirmed his departure, saying that malbsMd "could move into the positions that NiKo will be leaving at the end of December."
