Wildcard players chant "Amouranth! Amouranth!" after qualifying for Shanghai Major 2024 Video

Wildcard became the first team from Americans RMR to qualify for Shanghai Major 2024. After their victory over 9z, HLTV shared a video on X, showing the CS2 roster celebrating in the practice room and chanting, "Amouranth! Amouranth!"

The reason behind this is pretty simple. In the summer of 2024, streamer Kaitlyn "Amouranth" Siragusa became a co-owner of the organization. The local talent likes to joke that she will "save NA Counter-Strike."

Wildcard defeated 9z with a score of 2:0. Before this, they took down Team Liquid in a bo1 series. The opponent's IGL, Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken, blamed his mouse, which he thought was damaged by one of the employees at the event.

PW Shanghai Major 2024 RMR runs from November 11 to 24. Multiple teams compete for 24 spots at the main event, hosted in the same city in China. The RMRs are taking place in hotel rooms instead of a LAN studio. Below are the American RMR standings.
