OhnePixel's DRILLAZ fail to qualify for Shanghai Major 2024 from first try, beaten by MongolZ

Mark "OhnePixel" Zimmermann's squad lost the bo3 with a score of 1:2 — Mirage (13:11), Ancient (2:13), and Anubis (5:13). The Mongolian team became the first to qualify for the Major.
DRILLAS gave fans false hope with their strong start on Mirage, as they closed the first half 10:2. However, this period served as a warm-up for The MongolZ, who almost made a comeback on that map and demolished the opponents on the following Ancient and Anubis.
This is not the end of the road for DRILLAS. They dropped to the lower bracket, where they'll fight against FlyQuest. The winner of this game will compete for the remaining Major spot.
Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 RMR runs from November 12 to November 24. The teams are playing in China. This might be the last RMR in history, as the developers reportedly plan to abandon this system entirely. There were also no open qualifiers in the EU and Americas this season. All the RMR participants were invited via Valve's Regional Standings.
