Shroud rage quits his own game Spectre Divide and plays Deadlock instead
2024-09-10 14:05:00Star streamer Michael "shroud" Grzesiek stopped playing Spectre Divide and launched Deadlock during latest broadcast. When asked why isn't he playing his own game, he annoyedly responded to the viewers that he just did. The streamer also stated that Valve's shooter "twisted his brain."
I feel like this game, Deadlock, changed the way I perceive myself and my peers, Deadlock has twisted my brain. <...>
Shroud, how aboout playing your own f**king game? [Yells] I just got... Sorry, sorry. I was just playing for five or six f**king hours, you dumb piece of f**king... Sorry, sorry.
Shroud lost a game from a 7-2 advantage in Spectre Divide right before that rage incident. That's why he appeared that angry, despite typically being quite calm kind of a streamer.
Meanwhile, Valve's Deadlock continues to attract audience, despite being only in alpha testing. The game reached online peak of 170k players last week and already had small tournaments ran by streamers and enthusiasts. Shroud previously praised the MOBA shooter, claiming that "Deadlock would take over the world."
