S1mple reacts to OverDrive's report on his buyout Rumors

NAVI inactive CS2 player Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev commented on Aleksey "OverDrive" Biryukov's post about his buyout. The insider earlier claimed that the amount was $3 mln. On his Telegram, the Ukrainian didn't provide many details but said that the buyout is "even more" than that.

S1mple has been seeking a new team since Copenhagen Major. He promised to return on multiple occasions. In August, he explained that the massive buyout prevented him from coming back.

The superstar has been inactive since October 2023. He played only a single series in professional CS2, as a stand-in for Falcons. The organization acquired him on loan for a brief period, but the team was eliminated after a single match at BLAST Spring Showdown. Back then, OverDrive called it "the most expensive game in history." The sides never revealed how much was paid for s1mple. The superstar claimed he would be fined $100k if he would reveal the details of that deal.
