NiKo: "CS2 jumpthrows are still way more accurate than in CS:GO"

Nikola "NiKo" Kovac thinks that CS2 grenade jumpthrows are more reliable than the ones from CS:GO. After Valve blocked the scripts, G2 Esports didn't have many problems with landing the utility. However, the running jumpthrows are still difficult. NiKo shared this in brief comment at EPL S20.

Who is missing the most smokes in the team? Maybe the first day [after jumpthrow ban] was a bit rough for everyone. But I think we got used to it quite fast. They're still way more accurate than in CS:GO. So that's a good thing. In CS:GO sometimes, when you press all the keys at the same time, the nades still didn't always go the same way. But in CS2, they are actually pretty accurate, so we don't have many issues. I guess the only problem is running smokes, they are the hardest, but I guess it's fine.

G2 Esports start EPL S20 in a match against KOI on September 3. The game will kick-off at 19:30 CEST.

On August 20, Valve forbade the usage of Snap Tap keyboards and scripts imitating such behavior. Now, if you're trying to implement those in CS2, you will be kicked from the game. Additionally the developers blocked all multi-task console commands, including jump throws. The professional community had mixed reception of this decision. Some, like EliGE, agree that jump throws are easy to execute, but they don't see the reason why such QoL features should be banned.

ESL restricts Snap Tap usage on their events, following Valve's stance
