S1mple has been inactive for almost a year at this point. He took a break in October 2023 and couldn't find a team during the summer break in 2024. The superstar AWPer later revealed that his buyout was the main obstacle on his way back to CS2.
Previously, Russian YouTubers analyzed s1mple's FACEIT demos. They were shocked to see him performing way below his usual level. The content makers assumed he was playing drunk. S1mple insisted that he shared his PC with friends at the time.
