HUASOPEEK on 9z victory over Falcons: "For me it would be amazing to win one Major while they have five. It makes this so special" Exclusive
2024-08-24 12:43:009z Team rifler Matias "HUASOPEEK" Ibañez commented on their win over Team Falcons at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 #2 by FISSURE. He explained why this victory was important for him in a short interview to our site.
[On a victory over Falcons] This victory is so special. In Falcons they have dupreeh, Magisk, zonic who have won five Majors. For me it would be amazing to win one while they have five. That makes this victory special.
[Do you think opponents might still underestimate you?] I don't think so. We lost the last two matches but we did well before. For example, we beat Vitality at IEM Dallas. I don’t think opponents underestimate us, I think they respect us.
[Who do you want to face next: BetBoom Team or Pain?] I want to face Pain. We lost to them at IEM Cologne and I want to take revenge.
9z Team defeated Team Falcons in the first match of group A at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 #2. Their next opponent at the event will be either BetBoom Team or Pain Gaming. Falcons fell to the lower bracket of the group, where they will have to play against the loser of that match.
The tournament is held in Belgrade, from August 24 to September 1. There are 12 teams fighting for a prize pool of $500 thousands. This is a second tournament in this series in 2024. The first one, in May, was won by MOUZ.
