S1mple: "My account wasn't shared, I was out, and someone else played from my PC"
2024-08-04 16:06:00NAVI star CS2 player Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev answered the accusations of account sharing, which followed his admission of allowing his friends instead of him on FACEIT. He clarified that he allowed others to play on his PC and never shared the account.
Tell the English-speaking fools that I was out, and someone else could play a round on my PC. The account wasn't shared, it was all from my PC. And yes, to all the idiots that say some bullshit, I brought my PC from Poland around a month ago to Barcelona. I'm currently in Warsaw, and my PC is still there.
YouTubers previously went through S1mple's latest demos played this summer. They were shocked to see him making rookie mistakes and losing to players who were below him in the Elo rankings on FACEIT. They assumed he was sharing his PC with others. S1mple later confirmed that on Telegram. Some assumed he was breaking the ToS as account sharing is forbidden on Steam and FACEIT.
S1mple has been on a break since October 2023. During this time, he only played one professional match as a stand-in for Falcons. The Ukrainian also didn't join any team during the summer break, even though he expressed a desire to compete at Shanghai Major.
