S1mple on awful FACEIT demos: "I often gave my computer to my friends, and that's what happened"

NAVI inactive CS2 player Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev reacted to a recent YouTube video from JhinX that broke down his latest FACEIT demos. The reviewers were shocked by his poor mechanics and bad decisions, so they guessed that it wasn't the superstar using his account. S1mple confirmed that he sometimes shared his PC with friends.

Respect for such videos. It made me feel better. I often gave my computer to my friends or acquaintances, and that's what happened [laughs]. Or someone from the guys played on my PC to play FACEIT together. In short, a great video.

Despite this statement, there were games where the YouTubers heard s1mple speaking, as they watched some demos with comms. They assumed that the player was drunk, as he could miss easy stairs jump, have really poor crosshair placement, or finish a game with ridiculously low numbers despite playing in lower-skill lobbies.

They noted that whenever the superstar picked the AWP, he looked like his usual self. Also, there were a few matches when he performed well. Jhinx noted that s1mple had every right to do whatever he wanted during his break, but he was disappointed to see the demos, as they didn't look like the legend was ready for a comeback.
