Rain beats all-time record of playing most time on one team in CS history

Havard "rain" Nygaard has spent 3014 days on FaZe Clan's lineup. This is the longest time any pro remained on the same roster in the history of the game since CS:GO. On April 21, he surpassed Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski's record achieved with Team Liquid.

3014 days equals 8.25 years. During this time, the Norwegian has been absent for only two events. Other notable long-standing performers are BTN, KRiMZ, and f0rest.

The statistics don't include CS 1.6. Otherwise, Zeus and Edward would also be high on the list. Both spent a lot of time in Natus Vincere, but also had short stints with other organizations.

YEKINDAR: "Partnered leagues were one of the reasons why the game evolved in the first place"

What makes rain's achievement even more impressive is that he was on the initial Kinguin lineup with ScreaM and Maikelele, later bought by G2 and by FaZe Clan. He outlasted that roster, and then the first superteam with olofmeister, NiKo, and GuardiaN, where he was probably the only non-star player. During rain's time on FaZe, karrigan joined, left, and came back to the team. After his return, they won Intel Grand Slam S4 and Antwerp Major with Havard as the MVP.
