M0NESY: "I would stay to live in China if not for ping"

G2 Esports star Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov shared his impressions of visiting IEM Chengdu 2024 in China. He revealed that he could stay and live if not for the ping issues. The AWPer spoke about it on stream.

I really liked it in China. To be honest, I would have stayed to live there if not for the ping. I like their culture very much, and the people there are so kind. It's also calm in China.

M0NESY received a warm welcome in China. He didn't expect fans to crowd him to take photos and autographs. As a result, he struggled to get inside a hotel. The player also released a video of his car surrounded by Chinese fans after they recognized him through the window.

At the IEM Chengdu 2024, G2 were the crowd favorites and finished 3-4th. The tournament was held from April 8 to 14. Local fans will likely have another chance to see m0NESY this year, as Perfect World will run the next Major in Shanghai.
