The MongolZ to cadiaN: "Just wanted to express how much we're enjoying our stay in Copenhagen"
2024-03-20 16:55:00The MongolZ fired back at Casper "cadiaN" Moller, reminding him of insults he threw at them last year. The team released a tweet saying that they enjoyed staying in his country after they qualified for the Elimination Stage at PGL Copenhagen Major 2024.
CadiaN responded to mongolZ, and they exchanged a new round of trash-talk. He admitted they are no longer noobs, and the team answered with a timeline to Eminem's song ("If my response is late, it's just how long it takes").
Team Liquid with cadiaN didn't make it to his home Major, unable to beat Brazilian teams and Complexity at the RMR. The message sends back to IEM Cologne 2023. In the group stage match against MongolZ, cadiaN called the opponents "f**king noobs."
Heroic barely won against them that day, losing the first map and having to fight through overtime in the second.
The MongolZ proved they're worthy of competing in Copenhagen. They advanced to the Elimination Stage with a 3:2 score. No Asian team has reached the top 16 of any Major since 2018.
