Seized qualifies for PGL Copenhagen, his first Major since 2018

9Pandas defeated GamerLegion in the last match of PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 RMR Decider with a score of 2:1. The captain of the Russian team, Denis "seized" Kostin, qualified for his first Major in six years.

The captain appeared almost crying on social media, thanked his fans, and said he had no words to describe his feelings.

Seized is mostly known for playing on NAVI where he won several events and got to the grand final of MLG Major Columbus 2016. After the team parted ways with Zeus, he became the IGL, and his performance took a nosedive. He last participated in a Valve event in CS in January 2018. Then he played on FlipSid3 Tactics and took last place at the ELEAGUE Major Boston.

PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 will take place from March 17 to 31. Participants, including Cloud9 and FaZe Clan, will compete for $1.25 million and a slot at BLAST Premier World Final 2024.
