Boombl4 to stand-in for sh1ro in Cloud9
2023-10-27 08:45:00Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov will take Dmitriy "sh1ro" Sokolov's place at Cloud9 during the upcoming Thunderpick World Championship. The organization announced it on Twitter.
The news came shortly after sh1ro stepped down from the team. He didn't reveal where he's heading, although mentioned this was the toughest decision in his career. Afterwards, Russian insider harumi reported that Boombl4 and s1mple will eventually join C9.
Steel will be unbanned from CS2 by Valve in January 2025
The Russian IGL is currently playing for 1WIN. After his addition, the IGL led the squad to four victories, two of which were achieved recently, in September 2023. There were rumors about him joining Cloud9 before, and the organization teased his addition on social media.
