"I've been criticized from day one for being IGL, but now, I won the f**king Major, so f**k you all!" ApEX, zonic, dupreeh, and ZywOo's emotions after BLAST Paris Major win Interview
2023-05-21 18:54:00Vitality's players shared their feelings during the exit interview after their victory over GamerLegion in the grand final of BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023. Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut humbly thanked the crowd, saying it was done for them. The two-time Major champion Dan "apEX" Madesclaire started by lashing out at his critics:
I've been criticized from day one for being IGL, but now, I won the f**king Major, so f**k you all!
I believed in the team from day one. Last year has been really rough. But this year, 2023, from January, we told ourselves there's a Major in Paris, and that was the big goal for us: To come as good as possible here. And you could see that many teams had trouble coming here. We gave everything last five months. It wasn't easy, the beginning was tough, and not many believed in us after Katowice and EPL. But that was everything in the plan to grow up as a team. And yeah, we won the f**king Major.

This crowd here, the golden hornets, I f**king love them. I'm sorry, but you are the best!
Yeah, It's emotional for me. It's been a tough road with Vitality. We didn't always play our best. I lost my mom last year. It's been a hard journey, but finally we...
Zonic didn't find the words to continue as the crowd started applauding him. James Banks switched to Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen, who couldn't believe he had become the most decorated player in CS:GO history.
Yeah, it couldn't be better, so right now, I don't even know what I've done to myself. I'm totally baffled and super proud. When I joined Vitality, my goal was to win one more Major, and I achieved it today.

I'm f**king speechless. That's the only thing I can say. Ever since I joined the international team, that has been my dream. I'm just happy I was able to do it with the most amazing teammates. I can trust them any single second. I'm just so f**king proud of everyone.
Vitality 2-0'ed GamerLegion in the grand final. They countered the notorious offence of the underdog team on the T side of Overpass and stole the opponents' map pick. On the second map, Nuke, Vitality had to come back from 5:10 as CT and managed to close it 16:13.
