Stewie2K is officially free agent, ready to compete in CS:GO and Valorant

Jake "Stewie2K" Yip announced his free agency on Twitter. His contract with Evil Geniuses ends, and the player is ready to join a team. In his post, Stewie2K said he had a rough time away from competing, but he is ready to grind again, both in CS:GO and Valorant.

Stewie2K had quite a scandalous exit from EG. Their former coach Damien "maLeK" Marcel and his assistant reportedly struggled to find common ground with the player, who refused to cooperate on multiple occasions. This involved not accepting friend invites from the coach on Steam and refusing to even greet him on the first week of their work together.

After stepping down from the active roster, Stewie2K dedicated himself to streaming and tried himself in Valorant in WARDELL's team The Nation. They tried to qualify for VCT 2023 NA S1 Challengers but didn't make it and never played in other tournaments.
