S1mple's reaction to Counter-Strike 2 release: "Valve, let us finish tournaments to have same amount of time to prepare during player break" Video

NAVI superstar Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev was invited to give one of the first reactions to CS:GO Source 2 version, or Counter-Strike 2. The panel skipped the post-match interview at ESL Pro League S17 to show him what's new in the game.

"What the hell!?" was the first thing s1mple said. They discussed the new smokes trailer with dynamic interactive clouds, filling the spaces and creating gaps from grenades and gunfire.

M0NESY reaction to Counter-Strike 2: "Throwing HE and shooting smokes will let you see through them. Why would you even use smokes then?"

"Did you actually try this? Nah, I don't believe it. Nah, f**k this", reacted s1mple before seeing the footage, but he was instantly thrilled with the new smoke behavior. The first thing he did was started to call B1ad3 and other teammates to let them check it too.

After they finished, s1mple addressed Valve, asking to postpone the release to the player break start for everyone to have fair conditions at future CS2 tournaments.

Valve, if you hear this, let us finish the tournaments. So all of us would have the same amount of time to prepare after the player break, before IEM Cologne and BLAST Groups.
