OverDrive: "Rumors say that nexa was kicked" Rumors
2023-03-22 16:40:00Alexey "OverDrive" Biryukov shared rumors about Nemanja "nexa" Isakovich being kicked from OG. He specifically pointed out that it's not his own information, but something he heard. Nonetheless, he discussed the topic on YouTube.
OG is a weird team. Who would've thought that nexa would leave the roster? And they don't reveal the reasons. The rumors say that he was kicked. This will probably be the biggest mistake. The lineup from a contending status will drop to the Sprout level.
They say players gathered and said that nexa demanded too much from them. My first thought was it was degster, once again deciding that he hasn't enough freedom and needs to change things, or there will be no results. And that is why he convinced young players as the authority figure to move nexa. That's only a theory, I hope that was not the case, and they didn't kick their IGL because it's the same as shooting your leg before a run. The captain is critical in this team. If the org and the coaching staff put out a particular IGL, the players must trust him, doing whatever he asks. Otherwise, it's better to leave.

OG had a mediocre result of 9-12th place at IEM Katowice 2023, after which nexa took a temporary leave due to personal reasons. The following closed qualifier OG played with stand-in Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen. That roster participated in ESL Pro League S17 but didn't survive the group stage. They are about to play RMR for Paris Major in early April. BLAST's official website shows OG with nexa. The Liquipedia page dedicated to RMR lists niko instead.
