Jerry: "We went to eat together with the team, and we saw npl was always alone. You don't see NAVI together. They lack the nominal leader" Interview

ForZe captain Andrey "Jerry" Mekhryakov gave his take on the NAVI CS:GO roster issues. He thinks the team lacks a nominal leader even after Denis "electronic" Sharipov became an IGL. The player spoke about this during the Russian podcast "On the Banana".

Jerry spotted that NAVI players do not spend time together outside of matches at ESL Pro League S17. He thinks they lack a motivational and uniting leader, like departed Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov.

The team has s1mple and electronic, along with B1ad3's help from his side. They are seemingly great. They know everything about the game: fakes, timings, late-round plays. They know every little detail, but they don't have a leader.

That's why npl looks separated from NAVI. We went to eat together with the team, and we saw that he was always alone. You don't see NAVI together. They lack the nominal leader, the captain. Electronic was given the role of IGL, but with his rifle skills... it's not cool.

Before that, the lineup had Boombl4. He was the nominal captain. I can't say he was a super great leader, but he was a nominal captain.

It's not the first time Jerry has brought up this topic. He had a similar take before EPL started. At the event, forZe beat NAVI, claiming first place in Group D. Electronic's team got to playoffs from the middle bracket. They will face 00Nation on March 21, at 19:00 CET.
