S1mple: "There's no Source 2 (yet). The developers didn't share any beta versions. It's all pros and streamers baiting"

NAVI superstar Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev denounced the existing of Source 2 and his participation in the reported "secret testing" involving professional players. A fan asked him on social media to evaluate the new game, implying that the sniper had tried it. In return S1mple joked about the conspiracy theory.

He himself previously "baited" fans on Twitter. A week ago, s1mple compared the "new" CS to Valorant, joking that he had "few extra keys left."

The rumors of Source 2 incoming by the end of March received a reliable confirmation at the beginning of this month. Richard Lewis revealed that Valve would almost certainly rename it to Counter-Strike 2 and implement several new features, including 128-tick servers and improved match-making. He also claimed that a group of professional players travelled to Seattle to secretly test the new version. Some insiders supposed that CS:GO Source 2 servers might have a new "tickless" or "subtick" system.
