S1mple: "There's no Source 2 (yet). The developers didn't share any beta versions. It's all pros and streamers baiting"
2023-03-14 11:00:00NAVI superstar Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev denounced the existing of Source 2 and his participation in the reported "secret testing" involving professional players. A fan asked him on social media to evaluate the new game, implying that the sniper had tried it. In return S1mple joked about the conspiracy theory.
There's no Source 2 (yet). The developers didn't share any beta versions. It's all pros and streamers baiting.

He himself previously "baited" fans on Twitter. A week ago, s1mple compared the "new" CS to Valorant, joking that he had "few extra keys left."
The rumors of Source 2 incoming by the end of March received a reliable confirmation at the beginning of this month. Richard Lewis revealed that Valve would almost certainly rename it to Counter-Strike 2 and implement several new features, including 128-tick servers and improved match-making. He also claimed that a group of professional players travelled to Seattle to secretly test the new version. Some insiders supposed that CS:GO Source 2 servers might have a new "tickless" or "subtick" system.
