Or, at least he thought so at IEM Katowice 2023, where players and IGLs were asked to evaluate the opponents. In a segment dedicated to G2's captain, the NAVI coach praised him for quick improvement.
For me, HooXi is a tier-2, maybe tier-3 IGL, who is evolving pretty fast. He is reaching a new level. I think he brings a lot of new things to G2.
Most of the participating players praised HooXi's teammates and struggled to estimate his impact on the roster. Jame was the only one to place him way above the middle level.
In his turn, HooXi accurately guessed where players put him on the improvised chart. He "didn't think he was too much respected yet in the tier-1 scene." However, he proved himself on the server at that event as G2 cruised through IEM Katowice 2023 and took the trophy.
