OverDrive: Cloud9 might remove Interz, one of replacement candidates is Entropiq's Forester [Updated] Rumors

Cloud9, the longest-lasting lineup in top CS:GO, is about to break up. According to Russian insider Alexey "OverDrive" Biryukov, they will remove Timofey "Interz" Yakushin.

Later, OverDrive provided his inside with new information. He states that Cloud9 may be testing Igor "Forester" Bezotecheskiy, the inactive player of Entropiq.

Forester was considered one of the main stars in Entropiq, with an average HLTV rating of 1.08. On this team, he won many tier-2 online tournaments but never achieved a LAN victory. Their best result was 2nd place at V4 Future Sports Festival Budapest 2021, losing to Gambit in the grand final.

Edit: Later, OverDrive added that Sanjar "SANJI" Kuliev is undergoing tests. There are other candidates besides them too.

Interz was on the roster from the very beginning of 2019. During a year and a half, Gambit Youngsters developed into a top-tier squad, which they proved by winning IEM Katowice 2021. They were the best team in the world for a while with several trophies, but most of the results were achieved online.

Transitioning to LAN, Gambit weren't that successful, but they still managed to get to Major semis in Stockholm and win the aforementioned Budapest LAN. After Cloud9 bought the team, they also got 1st place at IEM Dallas 2022. The Major in Rio started quite well, as they overcame FaZe and NAVI to earn the playoff spot. However, C9 didn't make it further, losing to MOUZ in the quarter-final.
