Every HooXi's CPF teammate made it to Major. Previous G2 IGLs qualified as well

G2 Esports captain Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen is the only player from the former Copenhagen Flames team who didn't qualify for the IEM Rio Major 2022. Besides that, both previous ILGs of G2 did it as well.

Zyphon did it with Sprout, followed by Jabbi with Heroic. Later, nicoodoz and roeJ qualified with Fnatic. Aleksib's Ninjas in Pyjamas and nexa's OG made it to the Major among the first.

"I think G2 were a little bit impatient in how they approach things". YNk on FaZe success, Boombl4 return, and G2 changes
YNk explains why NiKo could be a great IGL and what made FaZe so strong.

G2 Esports had a great start at the RMR, but then something went wrong. They lost to C9, 1WIN, and GamerLegion, finishing their run with a 1-3 score. NiKo and m0NESY apologized to the fans for their performance.

European RMRs are running on October 4-9, with 32 attending teams split into two Swiss Groups. 16 best will make it to Rio Major's various stages, while the other half will leave the tournament.
