K0nfig will skip RMR due to fractured ankle, MistR to step in for Astralis

Astralis announced that Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke won't be able to attend the upcoming RMR event due to a fractured ankle. He will be replaced on the event by 18yo Astralis Talent player Mikkel "MistR" Thomsen.

According to the player, he will have to have a surgery, and won't be able to sit upright for long for the next two weeks. RMR A starts on October 4.

That's another turn in the hard story Astralis have with this RMR. In attempts to qualify, the team lost three open qualifiers to mostly unknown teams and only got in on the last try. They will have to play against G2 Esports, FaZe Clan, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and others.

It's not the first time k0nfig injures himself in the recent times. In August 2021, when he was playing for Complexity Gaming, he slipped on the floor in the airport and broke his wrist.
