Heroic add Jabbi

Danish CS:GO squad Heroic signed Jakob "Jabbi" Nygaard from Copenhagen Wolves. He replaced Ismail "refrezh" Ali, who was benched due to lack of results.

I am delighted to join Heroic. It is a huge opportunity for me to become a part of this team. It is a team that plays exciting CS while consistently being in the top 5. I am looking forward to proving myself and showing that I can help take Heroic even further. It will be an exciting new journey, and Heroic is the perfect place for me to continue my development. I also know a lot of the players in the team – they are great guys.

Jakob "Jabbi" Nygaard

Jabbi is a 18-year-old Danish player, who started competing in 2019. He spent the most of his career in Copenhagen Flames, which became "dark horse" of PGL Major Stockholm 2021, surprising many with its gameplay, and finished PGL Major Antwerp 2022 at 5-8th place.

Heroic decided to switch players after a long streak of unsuccessful events. Its last big win came in March 2021, when the team won ESL Pro League Season 13. The squad regularly got to top-8, but couldn't secure a win. Pinnacle Cup Championship was the last LAN-tournament for the old squad, which, ironically, Heroic won.
