Stewie2K on ex-coach accusations: "This is another level of twisted and overly dramatic story"

Evil Geniuses Jake "Stewie2K" Yip answered their former coach assistant Paolo "EVY" Berbudeau's accusations. He released a series of tweets, stating the Frenchman twisted the facts to make the IGL look worse than he was. Stewie said he takes some responsibility for what happened and promised to tell his side of the story later on stream.

There are always two sides to every story, but wow, this is another level of twisted and overly dramatic story to make me look THAT bad. "Clenched fist" I don't even remember having any conversations like that with YOU.

As twisted as he's making it, I do take accountability for acting on some of my frustrations, but not the way this guy is making it look. Seems like it's story time. Going live on Twitch tomorrow.

Thanks to all the fans who didn't judge off one side of a crazy story. I'm not perfect.....neither is this STORY, jk I'm human too

"Clenched fist" is a quote from Paolo's interview, where he described how angry he was. Stewie2K also questioned EVY's explanations of their communication during their time in the squad.

Head coach Damien "maLeK" Marsel and EVY left EG in May after the team failed to make it to PGL Major Antwerp 2022. For about six months, their squad didn't make any progress and is currently below 60th place in the HLTV ranking. Later, EVY gave a lengthy review of their time in EG, blaming Stewie2K for his unprofessional attitude.
