S1mple mentions possible career break for second time in a year Interview

NAVI's superstar Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev said he wants to take a break in his career. Lately, he has been always on the move and this road life makes him feel tired. He posted a cryptic tweet and explained its meaning in the interview to HLTV.

Yes, yes. It is about deciding what to do. I don't know what is going to happen with the organization and all the players. We still need to decide if we will stick together or if we should do more changes. Because maybe I will take a break because I need to do things in life. Like, I need to move, I need to get a lot of documents... when you have a tournament after tournament you just have no time. <...>

For example, I don't have a flat right now or a house where I can always live, that is the main problem. I need to set up my life, I want to play and stream and not worry about other things, not travel with the same bag for six months. My teammates live with family, B1T is in Spain right now with his mom and dad, sdy lives in Kyiv but he has permission to go to tournaments. I live everywhere, just traveling and traveling, and I have become mentally tired of this.

Oleksandr first mentioned a break in early 2021, he wanted to rest after winning the Major. When he achieved this goal in Stockholm, he confirmed this idea, being worried about his health. But at the time, s1mple decided to postpone it.

Boombl4's ex-wife claims he was benched due to drug use, denies that her activity was the reason

In the interview, he confirmed Denis "electronic" Sharipov to take the IGL role, although Perfecto was also in consideration. S1mple expects NAVI to keep their style, but the squad may start to play faster in the mid-round because electronic usually is better at reading the opponents.

I think because no one else can do what he can do as an IGL. I need to focus on my game, B1T is a young player, he is just clicking headshots. There was some thought between electronic and Perfecto, but I think Perfecto said he didn't want to do it in the end. Overall electronic has one of the best understandings of the game, he can easily read opponents as well, and he is calm in pressure moments when you need to make a good call, so I think it was the easiest decision for B1ad3.

Their stand-in Victor "sdy" Orudzhev shares many of Boombl4's positions, so he should easily fit the team. Their practice has been going well, but the Ukrainian needs time to get comfortable with the rest of NAVI and learn their style.

Sdy: "I was told I won Dota LAN at 7 and CS one at 9, but I don’t remember any of that"
