Team Spirit former coach: "Degster always finds some new problems to disturb his happiness" Interview
2022-06-13 15:20:00Ex-coach of Team Spirit, Nikolay "Certus" Poluyanov commented on Abdulkhalik "degster" Gasanov moving to the inactive roster. In the interview with Metaratings.ru, he portrayed the sniper as someone who brings troubles upon himself and overestimates the issues.
To be honest, I knew his departure was a matter of time. He is a very complicated person. Very kind and responsive but way too unstable. He always finds some new problems to disturb his happiness. He then tries to solve them, finds new ones, and so on. He simply cannot live without overestimated issues. It's a pity that, at this point, his career isn't in the first place because he fully dedicates himself to only a single important thing in life. I feel sorry that he lacked professionalism and didn't want to compromise. And first, love is good exactly for being first. Let's hope I'm wrong about this.
Certus thinks that Spirit's approach didn't allow degster to stay. The organization lives by its principles and won't change them to fit a player's desire.
As far as I know, there were no other options. The organization develops a set of values, and every player or employee must share them. Team Spirit will never build a roster for a particular person, even the star or someone with big potential. This is why they relocated, and if a player puts personal above general, they will part ways with him, no team achievements will change that.
Degster will have a chance to show himself at BLAST Premier 2022 Spring Finals. He will stand in for OG as their sniper mantuu got sick before the event.
Гnder the Team Spirit's banner, рe and Certus went to the IEM Katowice 2021 semi-final and made it to PGL Major Stockholm 2021. Their following run wasn't successful, and the squad was rebuilt. Certus left the team that later surprised everyone and reached the semis at Antwerp Major.
