Degster to stand in for OG at BLAST Lisbon
2022-06-13 10:55:00Abdulkhalik "degster" Gasanov will join OG at BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2022 in Lisbon. Their main sniper, Mateusz "mantuu" Wilczewski, feels sick, so the squad found a replacement.
The organization thanked the player and Team Spirit for providing the sniper's service as just a few days earlier, degster was benched. He attributed his decision to personal reasons and his unwillingness to relocate and live in Serbia, where the club is currently based.
BLAST Finals is vital for OG, who struggled to step up their game since Aleksib's departure. After IEM Katowice 2022, they missed key events and the PGL Major Antwerp 2022. They rebuilt the lineup by the end of May. The Lisbon event and the following IEM Cologne will become a testament to the new roster.
