Fnatic bench ALEX and poison, will rebuild around KRIMZ and Mezii

Fnatic moved Alex "ALEX" Mcmeekin and Valentin "poizon" Vasilev to the inactive roster. In their official announcement, the club stated it will rebuild the squad based on KRIMZ and mezii.

Peppzor, who filled Fnatic's latest gap, will return to Fnatic Rising. The organization promised to announce three new players in the upcoming days. Fnatic also thanked ALEX for his contribution and professional ethics.

Alex remains a confident and skilled IGL. However, we believe it is within both parties' interest to explore new options in terms of the direction and leadership for the squad. We want to thank Alex for his work ethics and contributions to our team in the last few months, and we will work with Alex and his representatives closely to map out his next career options.

Fnatic has been rebuilding its roster for over a year. ALEX and mezii joined the squad in August 2021 and sparked a new life into Fnatic. With smooya on the roster, they managed to win REPUBLEAGUE Season 2 and DreamHack Open November 2021. But another roster shuffle in early 2022 led to failure in open qualifiers for Antwerp RMR and one of the last places at EPL 15.
