Imperial knock Cloud9 out of Antwerp Major observed by 700,000 Brazilians who set viewership record

Imperial Esports achieved another victory in their miraculous run at PGL Major Antwerp 2022. As the "last dance" continues, they defeat Cloud9 in the Legends Stage with a score of 2:1.

Despite this happening in the Group stage, that match alone gathered more than 700,000 Brazilian fans simultaneously watching Gaules stream.

According to Esports Charts, more than a million people observed the game at its peak. This sets a new viewership record for Major group stages. The previous one was held by PGL Stockholm Major 2021 with 975k viewers. It happened during NAVI vs NIP and MOUZ vs ENCE games being live at the same time. Here, the record belongs only to one match.
