Tuscan public beta to start after May 16

Level designer catfood announced CS:GO map Tuscan public beta to begin after next weekend. He also showed its renewed locations screenshots on Twitter.

Tuscan is already available on Steam Workshop for a year. So far, its playtesting was going on FACEIT and among members of the developers' Discord group. Entering public beta means there will be dedicated servers in CS:GO.

The original de_tuscan appeared in Counter-Strike in 2005. Many players know it as de_CPL_mill, as it was slightly reworked for that tournament operator (CPL). In January 2020, the developers presented a trailer for the new version. The original Tuscan creator Colin "brute" Volrath decided to give the map a new life and united with catfood to develop this version.

In April 2021, map makers gave streamers a chance to explore Tuscan and show it to fans. At the moment, the map was missing most of the textures. This did not stop the professionals from playing a showmatch on Tuscan during ESL Pro League S13.
