ZywOo: "At 14:1, when I saw that I have zero deaths, I was like: 'Guys, I need bodyguards'" Interview

Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut commented on his PGL Major Antwerp 2022 opening game achievement. Vitality's superstar sniper finished the bo1 match on Inferno without dying once. He explained what happened in his interview with Fragbite.

I just don't know [how it happened]. I wanted to kill them but my teammates were just killing everyone. So I was just waiting on my site: "Yeah, they are gonna kill, yeah". But at 14:1, when I saw that I have zero deaths I was like: "Guys, I need bodyguards. I don't want to die now." [laughing] It was funny.

Was there any special preparation for the major?

No, we didn't do anything special. Let's say it was good preparation with practice. First of all, it's because we had a good talk about what we have to do in our first major, and mentality. I think this is why we are in good form.

In the match versus Complexity, ZywOo finished the game on Inferno with zero deaths. And not only that, all incoming damage during the whole match wouldn't kill him, as the Frenchman lost only 90hp overall. ZywOo became the eighth in LAN history to ever achieve a deathless game and the first to do it at a Major.
