NAVI stomp G2 to win the first LAN event in 2021

Natus Vincere became the first team to win the LAN event after the 'online era' caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. In the grand final of IEM Cologne 2021, they beat G2 Esports in a decisive manner. The scoreline of the series is 3:0 (16:11 Dust2, 16:14 Mirage, 16:13 Nuke).

Aleksandr "S1mple" Kostyliev became the best player of the series yet another time with a "+26" kills-deaths difference, 79.2% KAST and "9" open first kills difference. NiKo, the only G2 player with a positive KD difference, could not stop the Ukrainian AWP machine. The full statistics of the series and the whole event you can find at Escorenews.

IEM Cologne 2021 was the first big CS:GO LAN event since February 2020 when NAVI beat G2 at IEM Katowice grand final with the same scoreline. Natus Vincere earned $400,000 and just one step from Intel Grand Slam and a million-dollar jackpot.
