ALEX leaves Cloud9

Alex “ALEX” McMeekin is no longer tied to Cloud9, the British player announced on Twitter. He stated that he would consider any options in both Counter-Strike and Valorant. The in-game leader praised his former teammates, saying all of them “would make a great addition to any team.”

Meanwhile, his teammates have also left the team. William “mezii” Merriman joined Endpoint, Erick “Xeppaa” Bach, and Ricky “floppy” Kemery switched to Valorant. The only person whose future is still uncertain is Patrick “es3tag” Hansen whose three-year deal was valued at $2,100,000. The Dane will probably return to Astralis, who lost Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz as he joined Ninjas in Pyjamas.
