CS2 Armory Pass guide: How to get credits? How many credits you earn for XP? How to unlock all rewards and skins?
Valve released the first Armory Pass in CS2. The update features three collections, one weapon case, charms, stickers, and a limited edition Desert Eagle skin. The pass cost $16 dollars. Here's what you need to know about how it works.
How Armory Pass works?
Only accounts with Prime Status can buy Armory Passes. Armory Pass grants you a maximum of 40 credits. Only one credit is granted immediately. The rest 39 credits are earned by playing the game on Valve's official servers. Also, you can buy up to five Armory Passes and progress on all of them at the same time. These can be spent on various cosmetics as enlisted below.
- Gallery Case — 2 credits
- Random charm from any collection — 3 credits
- Random skin from any collection costs — 4 credits
- Random sticker — 1 credit
- Desert Eagle | Heat Treated — 25 credits
How to earn credits? How many credits do you get for playing?
You earn XP as usual, in any official mode. Note that Competitive/Premier matches reward you with the most points. Wingman is likely the second-best, with Deathmatch and Arms Race to follow. Casual is the slowest. 300 XP gives you 1 credit, which roughly equals 10 Competitive round wins. The credits aren't affected by a weekly bonus or XP reduction. You can gain 0 XP but still acquire credits. If you have more than one Armory Pass, one game will bring credits to each of them. You cannot buy credits. The only way to earn them is by earning XP with an active Armory Pass.
How to get most skins from Armory Case?
To get the most rewards from this event, you'll have to buy all five Armory Passes and grind for XP. It will take around 40 Competitive/Premier matches to get there, or slightly faster if you win most of them. Use the link below to see all the skins and cosmetics provided in this update.
