How to make multi binds in CS2 after Valve's ban? How to use Jumpthrow, null binds, de-subtick movement scripts in CS2
CS2 players found a way to use multi-binds in CS2 after Valve banned them in August, following the Snap Tap controversy. They were used to throw pixel-perfect nades and make reliable jumpthrows, along with other actions. These binds are also used to create the "de-subticked" movement for bunny-hopping, surfing and KZ. Here's how to use them in CS2.
The binds are not bannable by Vavle or Faceit, although their removal from the game might indicate that the developers see those as unfair. Feel free to use them on custom servers. Note that Valve auto-blocks Snap Tap movement, so any binds replicating it will kick you out from a server.
How to make multi-binds in CS2?
The method was found by Leiti and described on YouTube. You can create everything on your own, but it's easier to download his config. Here's how to install them:
- Use this link to download the config.
- Locate config folder in your CS2 files (Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\game\csgo\cfg).
- Unzip downloaded files to cfg folder.
- Open multi.cfg and adjust the bindings to your liking.
- When launching the game, type exec multi in the console.
- Alternatively, add exec "exec multi" to your existing autoexec file or type -exec multi in launch options.
Watch one of the videos below to learn how the workaround functions and make more detailed adjustments. Note that the developers will likely block this method in the future.
