Who is donk? What we know about Spirit Academy 15-year old prodigy invited to FPL, his crosshair, settings, and config

FACEIT invited a 15-year-old rifler to FPL. His name is Danil "donk" Kryshkovets, he is playing for Team Spirit Academy, and recently he drew everyone's attention. Before him only one player got into FPL at a similar age, the NAVI Junior prodigy, Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov, who is now playing for G2 Esports.

What's so special about donk?

His average HLTV rating for Team Spirit Academy is 1.11 and it's only growing. For the last 3 months, it went to 1.20, and all the other stats, such as ADR, Impact, or KAST are in the green as well, which is an achievement in itself. Donk's headshot rate is also impressive: it's about 60%, on par with modern "headshot machines" like B1T or Twistzz!

Of course, the sample size on HLTV is not that serious (4 events and 30 maps), and so is the opponents' level. Comparing him to m0NESY, Ilya had similar stats with the same level of opposition in 2020, when he was 14-15 yo.

Highly praised by others

Russian insider with deep involvement in the young talent scene, Alexey "OverDrive" Biryukov complemented the player by calling him a genius. He states that donk will be the first to join Team Spirit in case they'll need a new player.

Donk is a genius. I hope that he will have a great career. It's harder for him due to his location, school, and other life problems. These aren't critical issues but they can make it troublesome. I deeply cheer for him.

Of course, he's the biggest prospect. When someone on Team Spirit will drop in performance (which would be very sad), donk will be the first to replace him, no other options.

Played and won local LANs at the age of 12

There are mentions of Danil winning a LAN tournament in his hometown, Tomsk, at the age of 12. You can tell how much he was valued by simply looking at the following picture.

Besides that, donk participated in mixed online teams, including those with foreign players. During his time at Team Spirit Academy, he won two online tournaments, earning about $10,000 in prize money. Not bad for a year and a half of playing, considering the level.

And he seemingly progresses over time. In January 2023, FACEIT posted a tweet with quite scary numbers from the early days of the year. They said donk was "one of the most dominant riflers the league has ever seen." And every metric scream about it being true.
